Mr. Reza Mahmoudi, a doctoral candidate and the esteemed son of a disabled veteran, and Mr. Peyman Qalandari, a master’s student and the esteemed son of a former prisoner of war and disabled veteran, have been recognized as national top achievers at the 10th National Isar Educational and Academic Award Festival. Owing to their exceptional academic, educational, and research accomplishments, they were honored in the presence of high-ranking national officials.

Notably, these two distinguished students from the University of Kurdistan are the sole representatives selected for this prestigious award from universities under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology in the western and northwestern regions of the country.

The recipients of the 10th National Isar Award represented a total of only six universities affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, with the University of Kurdistan standing as one of these six institutions.
